Governance structure
VAC4EU employs a streamlined governance structure consisting of four principal bodies.
General Assembly
Member representatives
Consisting of one representative from each member organisation, this body serves the purpose of facilitating dialogue and the exchange of ideas concerning the organisation’s undertakings. Moreover, it ratifies overarching policies and offers guidance.

Executive Board
Elected by the General Assembly, the task of the board is to steer and monitor the organisation. Currently, eight experts sit on the board, meeting twice a week to discuss progress, strategy, and outlook.

Secretariat
Selected and guided by the Executive Board, the Secretariat provides operational support, including community engagement, study support, capacity-building, communication, business development, financial reporting, and the overall administration of the organisation. Currently the Secretariat is comprised of eight professionals.

Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is an independent board of experts which VAC4EU can consult about methodology and other scientific matters.
