The Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) is a public agency responsible for guaranteeing, from a public service perspective, the quality, safety, efficacy and correct information of medicines. AEMPS sponsors BIFAP to serve as a real-world data source to study the use and effects of medicines in the population.
