BRIDGE
The Real‑World Evidence BRIDGE tool is a structured metadata schema designed to help translate study protocols and statistical analysis plans into executable programming code for RWE studies. Developed to improve transparency, reproducibility, and collaboration between researchers and programmers, the tool uses a relational database with 12 tables grouped into four sections: study variable definition, cohort definition, post-exposure outcome analysis, and data retrieval. It is designed to be flexible, FAIR-compliant and adaptable to different data models and analytic platforms. A Shiny app supports its use and validation, and the tool is publicly available on GitHub.
