VAC4EU GitHub

Scientific integrity is a core value of VAC4EU. Although the original data from the RWD sources always remains confidential, publicly sharingR scripts produced throughout the pipeline is encouraged, if appropriate. This enhance public trust in our findings and enable other researchers to re-use the code, strengthening the reproducibility of these methods. 

The R scripts produced throughout the VAC4EU study pipeline remain private throughout the lifecycle of the study, however once the final report has been submitted and the study closes, the script is shared publicly with an open-source licence on GitHub. GitHub is a web-based tool intended for collaborative code writing and storing via repositories. For an example of publicly-stored study scripts, see an example from the SAFETY-VAC project below.
